Victoria’s Secrets models better hold on to their panties

Times are tough out there. The recession is making everyone resort to really desperate acts and this one is up there. Police are looking for two men and a woman they say snatched $3,400 worth of panties from a Victoria’s Secret in a Texas suburb of Hurst. The police report says the thieves took 100 panties valued at $14 each and 125 valued at $16 each. No idea why they did not take more of the pricey ones but to each his/her own. The suspects removed the panties from drawers opened at the front of the store and started placing them into a bag while most of the employees were in the rear of Victoria’s Secret. No arrests have been made in the March 9 theft.

A Sarasota County woman videotaped herself having sex with two dogs and watching child pornography with a friend, authorities say. Caroline Willette, 53, gave a CD with the images to an acquaintance, who turned it over to police, according to HeraldTribune.com. Because sex with animals isn’t illegal in Florida, Willette has been charged with three counts of possessing child porn. FYI read.

The crawler – transporter is a tracked vehicle used to transport the Saturn V rocket, the Saturn IB rocket during Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, and now the Space Shuttle, from NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building to the Launch pad on a Mobile Launcher Platform. The crawler-transporter, built by the Marion Power Shovel Co. at a cost of $14 million, was once the largest tracked vehicle in the world; it has since been surpassed by the German Bagger 288 excavator.

The myth goes that there were great secrets within the Alexandrian Library. It seems we all forgot one critical thing: Everything within the walls of the Library was copied from other sources. Woman tossed from balcony during domestic dispute

A 26-year-old woman was tossed off the balcony of a second floor apartment Saturday night during a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, police said. The boyfriend, Brett Picciotti, 26, of Dover Avenue, was charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident, police said. The woman was not identified. Investigators said the two began arguing in the Woodhollow Drive apartment of a mutual friend’s at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. During the dispute, Picciotti is alleged to have tried to strangle the woman and then pick her up and throw her off a second story balcony, police said. The woman landed on the ground outside her apartment building and was then assisted by two pedestrians who called 911, police said. The woman was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for treatment of unspecified injuries. She was reported in fair condition on Monday, police said. Picciotti fled the apartment building immediately after throwing his girlfriend off the balcony, police said. He was arrested later that evening at a home of a family member in Brigantine and then lodged in Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly on $250,000.

Jackson picked the items, but he’s now suing to stop the sale, though Julien’s Auctions’ CEO says it will go on regardless. Jackson recently sold out 50 concerts at London’s O2 Arena, a lengthy run that he’ll need to defray his mounting financial woes. According to the new issue of Rolling Stone, Jackson’s attorney’s fees and the $250,000 per month cost of maintaining his beloved Neverland Ranch have left the singer in millions of dollars of debt. Jackson’s manager, Dr. Tohme Tohme, and Randy Phillips, the CEO of AIG Live (the company promoting MJ’s London gigs) say the pop star’s stake in Sony/ATV Music Publishing, which owns the Beatles catalog, is keeping Jackson financially afloat, but he has borrowed hundreds of millions of dollars against that investment.

From 1960 onward, rumors began to be surface about findings of mutilated human corpses; these corpses followed the disturbing pattern and traits of the cattle mutilations that have spread across the world since the 1970's. This matter, generally considered to be of very bad taste, surfaced again in 1988 when the Skywatch International open list published a short text purported to be based on a secret report relating the death of an Air Force Sgt (E-6) by the name Jonathan P. Louette, abducted at the White Sands missile test range in March of 1976. Jonathan Louette who was serving at the White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico, a vast remote base where the latest US technology is tested. There are many stories linking White Sands to alien contact and captured alien craft. The Sergeant and a senior officer were detailed to travel several miles down the missile range in a military vehicle to find and recover any debris from spent missiles. At one point they left their vehicle to scout the desert. They separated in order to cover a wider area of the sand dunes more quickly. Suddenly the officer heard screams in the area of the dunes where the sergeant was searching. He ran towards the noise thinking that a rattlesnake had bitten the sergeant and as he reached the top of the dune, he saw a disc shaped craft hovering low above the ground. A long tentacle coming from the underside of the craft was wrapped around the sergeant. It dragged the screaming man into the craft and then shot away at great speed. The officer returned to base in a state of shock. When he reported what had happened he was not believed and was arrested for murder. An immediate search of the area failed to find any sign of the sergeant. Three days later Sergeant Louette's mutilated body was found twenty miles down the range. The mutilations were clinical and precise and involved the removal of the genitals, the rectum and the eyes. Typically there was no blood on the body, but the cardiovascular organs had not collapsed. The officer was released without charge. Although the story was leaked out by people involved in the incident, the military refused to confirm or deny that such an incident had taken place.

Dispute over dog poop lands neighbor in jail

An argument between neighbors over dog poop ended with a bat-wielding man in jail on a charge of aggravated assault on a person 65 or older. Here's what happened, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office report:

Patrick Hampson, who lives at 11808 Castine St., spotted the dog feces in his yard about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and figured the neighbor's dog was to blame. So the 68-year-old retiree went over to his neighbors' house at 11806 Castine St. to ask whether their dog was the culprit. He began arguing with Alycia Carrier, 30, while other neighbors watched. Brandon White, 28, Carrier's boyfriend, overheard the argument. He came out of the house carrying a black wooden baseball bat from his son's bedroom. Hampson says White raised the bat over his head and told him to get off of the property. Hampson says Carrier told her boyfriend to go back into the house, and he complied. Soon after, though, White came back outside holding the bat. Hampson says while White held the bat over his head, he told Hampson, "I wasn't going to hurt you before, but now, I will." FYI read.

Tata will start taking orders shortly for the world’s cheapest car, the Nano. The car retails for just over $2,000 and will be accessible to people living in India. The cars will actually begin shipping in July. Why is the car so cheap? There is no air conditioning, the steering is manual, the car doesn’t have any airbags, the body of the car is made of sheet-metal and plastic, and the engine is a 624cc two-cylinder. The car maxes out at about 43MPH.

Tata is hoping that people would rather buy this car than motorcycles.

U.S. Dollar Biggest Decline in Quarter Century on Fed Bond Buying

“Goldman Sachs Group Inc. raised on March 19 the target on its bet against the dollar to $1.40 per euro, and Citigroup Inc. recommended on the same day that its clients buy the euro versus the dollar.”

By no means assume that the reaction to the Fed’s quantitative-easing announcement has run its course. Fed purchases of Treasuries are likely to be quite problematic for the U.S. dollar, particularly given large foreign holdings of Treasuries and the loss of yield support for the dollar that Fed purchases have caused.

This is a storm whose clouds we all can see over the horizon. And everyone knew, except of course for those of us living life and trying to get by the best we can. And now here we are two years into a largely ignored recession, now turned into a depression, and our dollar is dying on top of that. This is no Great Depression; this is a Great Decline, and a steep one. The bill 20 that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held un-coded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! Florida man was arrested and charged with felony domestic battery last night after attempting to strangle his wife. The couple was fighting over drugs.

"Tampa, Florida - An Apollo Beach man wearing an "I ♥ My Marriage" t-shirt was arrested Monday night, charged with choking his wife during an argument. Hillsborough deputies booked 32-year-old Bradley Gellert into jail on charges of a felony domestic battery by strangulation. According to the arrest report, Gellert works for Ameriprise, a financial consulting company. The arrest report says that the couple were arguing over drugs and during the fight at their home, Gellert screamed in his wife's face, threw things, grabbed her neck and strangled her, and knocked her to the ground. Gellert followed the victim as fled the home and reported the incident in person at the closest sheriff's office."

California corrections officials have released a new photograph of convicted mass murderer Charles Manson, who is now bald with a thick gray beard and a swastika scar in the middle of his forehead. The photo of the 74-year-old Manson was taken Wednesday as part of a routine update of files on inmates at Corcoran State Prison, where he is serving a life sentence for conspiring to murder seven people, said Seth Unger, spokesman for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The cult leader was first sentenced to death for the 1969 murders of movie star Sharon Tate, coffee heiress Abigail Folger and three others stabbed and shot to death at Tate’s home in Los Angeles. The next night, two others were stabbed to death at their homes.
